Rival Esports Secures 5th-8th Place at Brawl Stars World Finals 2024 in Helsinki

Rival Esports is proud to announce that our Brawl Stars team has secured a 5th-8th place finish at the 2024 Brawl Stars World Finals in Helsinki, Finland. Competing for a share of the impressive $1,000,000 prize pool, our team showcased their exceptional skill and determination, ultimately taking home $40,000. With a peak live viewership of 1.1 million, the event proved to be one of the most exciting and high-stakes tournaments in Brawl Stars history—and Rival Esports was right in the thick of it.

A Strong Start on Day 1

The 2024 Brawl Stars World Finals kicked off with a bang, and Rival Esports immediately showed their competitive edge. On Day 1, our team—comprising Milkreo, Shu, and Melty—delivered an outstanding performance, sweeping Eternal Fire 2-0 in the group stage. This dominant win was a strong statement, showcasing the team’s strategy and teamwork.

In the next round, we faced Team Humble, the 2024 World Champions. Although we pushed them to match point, we ultimately fell short in a tight, high-stakes match. Despite the loss, securing match point against the eventual champions was a massive accomplishment, proving Rival Esports’ ability to compete with the very best in the world. With this strong showing, we qualified for Day 2, carrying momentum into the next phase of the competition.

Day 2: Unlucky Defeat to Reply Totem

On Day 2, Rival Esports faced Reply Totem, one of the toughest teams in the tournament. Despite our best efforts, we were unfortunately defeated, which resulted in us bowing out of the tournament with a 5th-8th place finish. Although the defeat was a tough blow, the team remained positive, knowing that they had given it their all and performed at a high level.

“We couldn’t have asked for more from our players—Milkreo, Shu, and Melty gave everything they had,” said [Gabriel Tan], CCO of Rival Esports. “We’re incredibly proud of how they played and how far they’ve come as a team. This result is a testament to their hard work and dedication.”

Looking Ahead

While our 5th-8th place finish at the 2024 Brawl Stars World Finals was a hard-fought result, it’s clear that Rival Esports is on the rise. Our team’s performance in Helsinki has only fueled our drive to continue improving and reaching new heights in the competitive Brawl Stars scene.

“We learned a lot from this tournament,” said Milkreo, team captain. “It’s always tough to go out in the way we did, but this experience will only make us stronger. We’re more motivated than ever to come back stronger in the next season.”
